We Are Rosie seeks a Maker, a versatile creative who shoots, edits, collages, and animates across formats for a one-year, ASAP-start engagement. The role offers an hourly rate of $4,500/week and requires NYC preferred, LA as a secondary location, with 40 hours per week and paid holidays.

The ideal candidate has a robust portfolio showing independent craft, social-first work, and big-brand experience; residency in NY or LA is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary background across design, motion, photography, editing, or collage with diverse work in portfolio.
• Portfolio shows independent taste and craft beyond polished brand deliverables.
• Strong, culturally relevant point of view with social relevance.
• Experience beyond brand-safe production; product demos alone aren’t enough.
• Comfort working within brand guidelines while pushing experimental ideas.
• Portfolio clearly shows social-first content, engaging in social contexts.
• Must reside in NY or LA; geo-specific requirement.

Responsibilities

• Create social-first content across formats—motion graphics, photography, video editing, and collage.
• Bring a culturally-aware point of view to creative work.
• Move between disciplines based on idea needs.
• Experiment with technique and format to contribute personal craft.
• Collaborate with designers, producers, and leads to develop concepts.
• Adapt personal craft to the client's brand system while elevating the creative.
