Job summary

Responsibilities

Operate crane to clean and coat rod.
Titrate all appropriate tanks and add chemicals and water to maintain tank level and concentrations.
Monitor and maintain concentrations, temperatures, and liquid levels.
Dump and fill hot and high-pressure rinse tanks.
Move steel rod in from rod yard.
Stock rod in wire drawing after cleaned.
Rotate rod for first in first out usage.
Fill out cleaning sheets.
Clean rod types and quantities assigned on cleaning sheet.
Observe rod-coating quality after cleaned.
Inspect crane and fill out inspection sheet.
Inspect fork truck and pay loader and fill out inspection sheet.
Maintain a clean work area.
Practice good safety techniques
Perform other duties as assigned
