Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a busy production environment. Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial machinery; a technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus; U.S.

work authorization is required; the production schedule runs on 3 shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
• Experience in Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
• Be Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance activities and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft and training is provided to develop these skills.
