The Maintenance Technician position is based at PCA's box plant in Nampa, Idaho. You will diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment as part of a multicraft team focused on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns in a production environment, and working across shifts. Prior experience in industrial maintenance is required or preferred; training is provided to advance

Qualificações

• 2+ years' experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades is a plus.
• Willingness to work any shift and authorized to work in the US.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range = $31.53-$42.11 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.
• Excellent Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Optometry)

• 1.5 Pay over 8 hrs. and over 40
• 1.5 Pay Saturday and Sunday
• 1.5 Pay Holidays + additional OT over 8 hours on holidays
• PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay.
• Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

Responsibilities

This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Nampa Idaho.

This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.

All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
• The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change. Must be willing to work ANY shift.
• Be Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $31.53-$42.11 per hour depending on experience
• Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
• Paid Holidays.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
