Job Description

The Multicraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, utilities, and facility systems. This role supports safe and efficient operations by performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
  • Inspect and operate machinery to ensure proper function
  • Assist with maintenance projects and facility upkeep
  • Coordinate and support subcontractors as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards
Additional Duties
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
  • Communicate equipment issues and operational concerns
  • Support plant operations and cross‑functional teams
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA safety certifications
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off‑shifts as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed or required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (team lift required when necessary)
  • Ability to stand and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Must wear required PPE at all times
  • Ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts
  • Work in a hot environment
  • Maintain regular attendance
  • Ability to push/pull 50–150 lbs on a wheeled cart; static push/pull: 20 lbs
  • Pinch minimum 6 lbs
  • Grasp minimum 35 lbs
  • Full range of motion required: cervical, shoulders, elbow, wrist, fingers, hands, trunk twist, and feet
  • Working conditions: moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, static shock, burns, going up heights, odors, dust, protrusions, narrow access, good vision and hearing
