Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Salary: $35.00–$42.00/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support plant operations by maintaining equipment, improving process reliability, and helping ensure product quality and overall plant performance.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with controls, drives, and industrial machinery is highly valued.
Work Schedule
Night Shift Preferred
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: B or D shift
Week starts: Sunday
Pattern: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on, followed by 2 days on / 3 days off
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose equipment and process issues using logical troubleshooting and problem‑solving techniques.
- Repair, replace, and adjust faulty components as needed.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with plant safety requirements.
- Complete assigned maintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
- Develop familiarity with plant equipment and operate machinery when necessary for troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment and process problems.
- Provide timely updates regarding maintenance activities and equipment issues.
- Identify and immediately address safety concerns.
- Follow required safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, confined space procedures, and hot work permits.
- Keep assigned work areas, maintenance shop, and oil storage areas clean and organized.
- Perform physically demanding and dirty work when required.
- Use maintenance manuals, training materials, and other resources to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skills.
- Manage daily maintenance tasks efficiently and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment systematically and identify root causes of failures.
- Experience with maintenance and/or controls systems is preferred.
- Experience configuring or troubleshooting drives is a plus.
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and follow established safety procedures.
- Strong communication, teamwork, dependability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work the required night-shift schedule.
- Ability to perform hands‑on, physically demanding maintenance work.
