Cadence Design Systems in Livonia invites a recent 2026 graduate to join the Adams MultiBody Dynamics application team as an Application Software Developer. You will implement backend logic, extend the UI, and create new modeling objects within an Agile environment.

Strong Python scripting and modern software architecture are required, with collaboration across product teams. The role emphasizes code quality, automated testing, and documentation, with opportunities to work on innovative modeling

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
• 0-2 years of experience (recent grad 2026) preferred.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and software architecture concepts required.
• Experience with VSCode and AI-assisted development tools is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Adams Application back-end business logic and persistence.
• Implement Adams UI extensions.
• Develop new modeling objects and templates for Adams.
• Modernize back-end to leverage modern hardware.
• Improve code quality with automated tests and CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with Adams team in Agile development processes.
• Contribute to debugging, usability improvements, and documentation.
