Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a self-motivated Multi-Unit Traveling General Manager to advise and participate in day-to-day operations and financial success of large multi-unit dining locations. You will ensure contract adherence, Health Department regulations, and company standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of operational food service management experience.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising and developing staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Outstanding customer service skills with commitment to high standards.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports.

• Maintain client and customer happiness by ensuring food quality and service standards are met.
• Supervise hiring, training, and development of staff to uphold excellence in service and food quality.
• Prepare and complete daily, weekly, and financial reports including food and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards for health and safety of customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to align programs with objectives and drive retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient dining operations.
• Travel as needed to support account needs in the area.

• Champion strong client relationships to align our programs with their objectives, driving happiness and retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of dining operations.
• Travel as need to support account needs in area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Six or more years of operational food service management experience.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation.
• Strong leadership abilities with validated experience in supervising and developing staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize optimally.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be experienced with computers.
• ServSafe® Certified.
