Job summary

Bob’s Carpet & Flooring is seeking a Retail General Manager to lead the strategic and operational direction of our multi-location stores. In this salary plus commission role, you’ll shape sales strategies, elevate performance, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence across the network.

You’ll drive weekly sales, oversee merchandising and store operations, build strong teams, manage vendor relations, and monitor budgets and P&L for profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7–10+ years of multi-unit retail management experience.
• Proven leadership in sales, team development, and operational excellence.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and budget-management skills.
• Confident communicator and problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Execute Sales Strategy: Drive weekly sales performance and forecast trends.
• Oversee Store Operations & Merchandising: Maintain brand standards and floor sets; manage promotions.
• Develop Talent & Build Teams: Lead monthly Store Manager meetings; handle hiring and training.
• Customer & Vendor Relations: Escalate complex issues; manage vendor partnerships; CSI programs.
• Financial & Strategic Oversight: Monitor budgets and P&L; improve stock turnover; support growth planning.
