Job summary

First Watch Restaurants, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to drive performance across multiple restaurants. You will develop General Managers and operations teams to grow sales and profitability while upholding guest satisfaction and the You First culture.

You will oversee 5–8 direct reports and 200–300 employees, require travel within the market, and lead budget development with a focus on safe, respectful workplaces and strong execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership in multi-unit restaurant operations.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Leads operational activities for a group of First Watch Restaurants, focusing on management development, sales and profitability.
• Trains, coaches and develops General Managers and Operations Managers.
• Monitors training of MITs/CAFE's and hourly employees; collaborates with Training GM.
• Develops Operations Managers within FW programs and ensures compliance.
• Plans manpower to develop management teams and recruits restaurant-level managers.
• Maintains a safe, harassment-free workplace across all restaurants.
• Addresses performance issues and resolves conflicts promptly.
• Manages area budget and seeks cost-effective capital investments.
• Promotes First Watch externally to drive growth.
