SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will be managing the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. Key duties include:
- Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and employees, including conducting management orientation.
- Ensuring all service aspects meet operational standards by directing and assigning employees.
- Overseeing employees and management across multiple drive-ins, performing duties in various stations based on volume, to ensure standards of food preparation, appearance, and service.
- Monitoring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices, taking appropriate action on issues and violations.
- Reviewing work schedules to maintain proper staffing and service levels.
- Controlling costs related to food, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Focusing on guest needs, responding to escalated requests and complaints professionally.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members to ensure proper staffing.
- Approving employee and management compensation within guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales challenges.
- Developing and executing regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Experience in multi-unit supervision is preferred.
- Ability to work at least 5 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and health regulations.
- Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
- Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
