We are the premier corporate dining and food service company, providing corporate dining to top-tier clients throughout the area. Our employees prepare and serve breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Unit Restaurant General Manager to oversee various services. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, promoting customer satisfaction, and achieving financial objectives across multiple units. It requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Leads a multi-unit team, ensuring operational excellence in contracted services.
- Manages client and community relationships at each location, continually evaluating operations, and developing plans to provide optimal service and enhance employee and customer satisfaction.
- Empowers and leads a diverse team and staff, ensuring they are equipped to achieve organizational goals.
- Provides excellent service with a results-driven approach for clients, identifies and resolves issues creatively, and is adept at strategic planning.
- Recommends methods, resources, and implementation strategies for service improvement and growth based on operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
- In collaboration with Finance, manages budgets and assists in designing improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
- Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, maintaining all related records and reports.
- Assumes full responsibility for operations, ensuring all service timelines and deadlines set by management or clients are met.
- Ensures adherence to APEX's standards of operation, including safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Develops new skills and fulfills job duties to positively impact employees and customers. Responsibilities may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in multi-unit management or a similar leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
- Strong focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship, and building a successful business.
- Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and support staff.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement contractual requirements, including identifying operational opportunities within contract terms.
- Extensive experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing other managers.
- Experience in creating and managing budgets, financial controls, and analysis.
- Experience in developing sales strategies and implementing operational initiatives.
