Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure guest satisfaction across shifts.

You will direct scheduling, control costs, recruit and train team members, and uphold Sonic's brand standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

This role requires a minimum of three years in restaurant management (QSR preferred), a strong work ethic, and the ability to work a 5-day week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, and coaches Working Partners/General Managers and conducts management orientation.
• Directs and assigns employees to meet service standards.
• Oversee drive-in operations across multiple stations to ensure quality and presentation.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Reports employee issues and policy violations to supervision.
• Reviews schedules to ensure coverage and guest service.
• Monitors cost control for food, labor, etc., and takes corrective action.
• Monitors vendor performance and takes action when needed.
• Audits employment and payroll records.
• Reinforces guest-first mindset in management.
• Responds to guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Recruits, interviews and hires management staff.
• Approves compensation within company guidelines.
• Prepares operational reports and develops action plans for sales trends.
• Develops and implements region marketing plans.
