Job summary

B5 Recruiting is partnering with a major property management organization to hire several Maintenance Technicians in Greenwood, SC. You will help keep residences safe, attractive, and well-maintained, working closely with the property management team in a contract-to-hire role.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments for new residents, processing work orders, performing routine maintenance and basic trades such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, roofing and flooring.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own set of tools; HVAC, CFC, or CPO certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Plumbing, basic electrical, appliances, carpentry & drywall, roofing & flooring, irrigation.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.
