Monroe Community College seeks a Maintenance Mechanic I for its Public Safety Training Facility on Scottsville Rd, Rochester, NY. The role covers a broad range of trades including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry to install, repair and maintain equipment and facilities.

The position requires high school graduation or GED and at least three years of full-time or part-time skilled trade experience. A NY driver’s license is required, with bilingual ability a plus.

Qualificações

• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical or construction trades.
• Ability to read plans and rough sketches and follow instructions.
• Experience as a skilled worker in one or more trades (3+ years).

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide variety of tasks in electrical, mechanical, or construction trades.
• Install, maintain, repair and rebuild electrical fixtures and systems.
• Install, maintain and repair plumbing equipment and systems.
• Design, install and repair training props and related infrastructure.
• Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs; operate maintenance equipment.
