Job summary

Mesquite Gaming Employment Center is seeking a maintenance technician to perform intermediate repair and upkeep across Mesquite Gaming properties, including hotel and casino facilities. The role requires responding to maintenance requests, ensuring safety, and supporting more senior engineers.

Minimum five years in general maintenance, strong English communication, and ability to handle multiple trades are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of general maintenance experience.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Proficient reading, writing and verbal communication in English.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work calmly in stressful situations.
Proficiency with electrical test equipment and electrical/electronic tools.

Responsibilities

Responsible for intermediate maintenance, repair and inspection of machinery and property as directed.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
Develop and implement engineering solutions under supervisor guidance.
Follow blueprints or schematics when needed.
Move materials and equipment around the property as required.
Log and report status of property components and systems.
Assist in training junior team members in daily duties.
Provide labor for maintenance across all areas of the property.
Comply with safety, environmental, and company policies at all times.
Maintain awareness of safety issues and report hazards to supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
