Job summary

Mesquite Gaming Employment Center is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform intermediate repair and preventive maintenance across Mesquite Gaming properties, including hotel and casino facilities. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in general maintenance.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Must have effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must operate computer and electrical test equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance, repair and inspection of machinery and property as directed.
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement solutions to engineering problems under supervision.
• Follow blueprints, manuals and schematics when required.
• Move materials and equipment to designated locations around the property.
• Maintain logs and report status of property aspects.
• Assist in training junior engineering staff.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
