Job summary

The Cordish Companies’ Maintenance Worker will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures in building. Assists in various maintenance and warehouse department functions and tasks and assists with the performance of various duties.

Performs variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience using basic hand tools and electrical hand tools.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including possible after-hours and weekends.
• Forklift, forklift truck and related motorized equipment operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building exterior and interior.
• Assist with maintenance and repair tasks in warehouse/distribution center.
• Participate in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, and related trades as needed.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, repair and construction of roofs, furniture, shelving, and other structures.
• Inspect properties and communicate with management about grounds keeping and upkeep.
