Department of Health and Human Services facilities with preventive maintenance, repairs, and CMMS documentation. The full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with some evenings or weekends possible to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar maintenance roles.
• Knowledge across plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• General trades skills in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC support.
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and grounds work.
• Conduct routine repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems under supervision of higher-graded staff.
• Install and repair sinks, lavatories, showers, hot water heaters, and plumbing fixtures.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces, patch drywall, and maintain finishes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical lighting systems, including switches, relays, and ballasts.
• Maintain some grounds maintenance, including snow removal, facilities access paths, and equipment upkeep.
• Record work in CMMS and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Perform other duties related to maintenance and operations of facilities systems.
• Respond to call-back and emergency duties outside normal working hours.
