Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in trade applications or mechanical work.
• One year of experience if a trade or vocational graduate is non-trade specific.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repair and maintenance on structures and equipment in assigned areas.
• Works with other trades and coordinates with outside contractors as needed.
• Maintains compliance with OSHA safety standards and Baptist Health policies.
• Requisitions supplies and tools and documents activities for records.
• Responds to codes, ensures fire and life safety measures are in place, and trains others as required.
