Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Multi-store Vendor Merchandiser to drive sales and execute strategic merchandising initiatives across assigned stores. You will manage designated vendor products, identify what works, and address slow-selling areas to create a memorable shopping experience.

Your role includes sharing product knowledge, following brand guidelines, and communicating customer needs to store leadership and vendors, with travel between stores up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of customer needs and ability to convey product knowledge to store leadership and vendors.
• Clear communication with customers virtually, by phone, and in person.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while staying organized.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by sharing product knowledge, trends, and style inspiration.
• Merchandise new deliveries from vendor(s).
• Follow brand execution guides and standards.
• Communicate customer needs and shopping patterns to store leadership and vendors.
• Work with store teams to drive best practices for sales and execution.
• Ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Follow store audit policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect to strengthen relationships with colleagues and customers.
