Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Enrollment Specialist to manage payer enrollments, CAQH maintenance, and multi-state applications. You will coordinate with providers, payers, and billing partners to ensure accurate submissions and timely approvals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in payer enrollment, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Word/Excel. Bachelor’s degree and multi-state experience are a plus. This is an on-site role in Dallas.

Qualifications

• 2+ years payer enrollment experience for individual providers or groups.
• Ability to obtain, set-up, maintain, and reattest CAQH profiles.
• Experience with government healthcare payers is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong telephone skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to manage multiple priorities.
• English reading and writing proficiency required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and multi-state enrollment experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enrollment through payer applications for provider groups and individuals.
• Maintain CAQH profiles, reporting, and provider attestations every 120 days.
• Prepare applications for new providers across multiple sites, payers, and states.
• Submit applications electronically to payers based on contracts.
• Track applications and follow up to ensure timely completion and payer approval.
• Communicate with clinicians, state payers, insurance carriers, and internal staff.
• Build relationships with payers to obtain provider billing numbers.
• Prepare correspondence and submit provider and group information to payers.
• Work with in-house and third-party billing companies on applications and system updates.
• Handle corrections or claim rejections due to enrollment errors or submission requirements.
• Communicate issues and status to the Enrollment Manager.
• Submit held A/R enrollments promptly and maintain held A/R reports.
• Meet or exceed enrollment performance standards and deadlines.
• Update application status in system databases and Excel reports.
• Determine applications requiring management approval or special processing.
• Manage high-volume enrollments and drive provider enrollments through completion.
• Assist with enrollment reporting for multiple payers (e.g., Superior Health, Healthscope, Cigna).
• Maintain Enrollment Master Reports and track submissions, re-validations, and re-enrollments.
