The role blends practical HR operations with careful legal thinking and offers exposure to investigations, labor relations, and multi-state compliance under People and Legal leadership.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in employment law, HR compliance, or employee relations.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi‑state employment law; California experience is a plus.
• Clear, neutral, precise writing across registers.
• Discretion handling confidential personnel matters.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (Rippling a plus).

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day employment-law and compliance support for a multi-state, multi-studio environment.
• Draft and revise handbook and policy language across jurisdictions.
• Support investigations from intake to closeout with organized records.
• Provide payroll oversight and ensure accurate processing of wages and benefits.
• Assist with labor-relations support under leadership and counsel guidance.
