Job summary

Harborview Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to join the 9NJB Specialty Clinics, including Urology, General Surgery, and Hematology/Oncology. The role is 100% FTE, 40 hours weekly, on the Day Shift (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm) in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include preoperative teaching, wound and catheter care, assisting with in-clinic procedures, care coordination, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active WA State or Multi-State RN License by start date.
• At least 2 years of acute care or outpatient nursing experience, with wound care or urologic experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve the clinics: Chest, General Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Palliative Care and Urology.
• Preoperative teaching.
• Wound care and catheter care.
• Assist MDs with in-clinic procedures.
• Care coordination and patient education.
• Pre-assessment evaluation/intake for multi-service clinics.
