Job summary

Harborview Medical Center's Neurology Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for 100% FTE, 40 hours per week on the day shift (Mon-Fri). The RN will provide direct patient care within the Neurology Clinic, with secondary support to Rehab Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, and Medical Operative Consult Clinics.

Active WA State or multi-state RN license and at least 2 years of RN experience are required, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth described by UW Medicine.

Qualifications

• Active WA State or Multi-State RN License by start date.
• At least 2 years of inpatient or outpatient experience as an RN.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to prioritize, delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients and families.
• Make independent judgments and take action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient problems.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care.
• Participate in clinic activities to promote problem solving and communication.
• Assigned primarily to the Neurology Clinic with secondary support to Rehab Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, and Medical Operative Consult Clinics.
