Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education with ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Basic patient care responsibilities under RN supervision.
• Eligibility for EKG and Phlebotomy duties with training.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities delegated by an RN.
• Take blood glucose measurements and monitor intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy duties per policy and training.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly; attend trainings.
• Support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
