Job summary

A facilities management company in San Juan is looking for a Multi Skilled Technician to oversee the operation and maintenance of equipment within the building. The ideal candidate will conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to tenant requests. Applicants should be High School graduates with at least 1 year of experience in technical roles covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience as a Multi Skilled Technician.
• Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Skillful in operating and monitoring equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds of inspection of all equipment and facilities.
• Ensure all equipment is in good running condition and implement troubleshooting.
• Report concerns on equipment and incidents to the Property Engineer.
• Perform weekly preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Attend to service calls and requests from unit owners and tenants.

• Conduct regular rounds / inspection of all building plant and equipment and common are facilities while on duty.
• Ensure all equipments is in good running condition. Otherwise, implement trouble shooting activities to rectify any noted defects.
• Report to the Property Engineer any noted concern on the equipment, incidents and actions taken to rectify the matter.
• Implement instructions from Property Engineer on matter that require immediate action.
• Ensure that operation of equipment conforms with the operating schedule in consistent to the energy management program.
• Monitor the operation of water pumps, exhaust system, air conditioning and cooling system, lighting, etc.
• Operates cooling tower, ensure that water level and all appurtenant to the air conditioning system are function as well as fan belt, condensing units, circuit breaker, chemical treatments, etc.
• Conducts weekly preventive maintenance on generating sets, fire protection system and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Conduct regular cleaning of all equipment room.
• Accomplish daily equipment checklist and schedule of periodic preventive maintenance.
• Monitor preventive maintenance work conducted by other sub-contractors such as but not limited to elevators, air conditioning system and generators.
• Monitor on-going fit-out activities of tenants. Accomplish instructions from Property Engineer relating to the maintenance and operation of equipment.
• Endorse to incoming technician accomplished and unaccomplished activities for the day to ensure continuity of programmed activities.
• Attend to unit owners and tenants’ service calls or request for assistance inside their offices/units.
• At least High School Graduate but Vocational Graduate is a PLUS.
• At least 1 years work experience as Multi Skilled Technician
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge in multiple areas, such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and sometimes IT or automation systems.
