Job summary

7-Eleven is hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I in Huntsville, AL to keep our stores running smoothly and ensure essential equipment operates at peak performance. You'll respond to service requests for repairs across HVAC, refrigeration, beverage and food equipment, and manage maintenance tasks.

This role requires 1+ years of experience and a valid driver's license, with a school diploma or GED preferred.

Your Day‑to‑Day: As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I, you’ll:

• Respond to service requests for minor repairs to a wide variety of in‑store equipment (HVAC, refrigeration, beverage & food equipment, ice makers, & fuel dispensers)
• Handle orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiencyPerform additional duties such as training other level I technicians, prioritizing work, basic maintenance on structures, etc.

What You Bring To The Table

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skills: Show leadership, peer‑to‑peer tech support, effective communication, handle stretch assignments, facility location ownership, and time management
