Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks a Multi-Skilled Equipment Operator to safely operate loaders, excavators, haul trucks and other quarry equipment in a crushed stone and gravel environment.

You will perform pre-and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and assist with stockpile management and site maintenance while collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure peak equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school credentials are highly desirable.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred (quarry or similar environment).
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load and unload materials and move earth, rock, and other materials as needed.
• Maintain haul roads and assist with stockpile management and site maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain logs.
