Job Description:

Multi-Skilled Production Technician

Job Overview:

The MST is responsible for ensuring safe, quality operations at the Athens plant. The MST works effectively with team members in a high-performance environment, performing tasks across various areas such as quality, laboratory, operations, logistics, and maintenance. The role also involves active participation in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), process safety, process control, information systems, and supporting team development to meet business goals.

Job Tasks:

• Operate site equipment (plant, warehouse, laboratory)
• Perform computer functions related to plant, office, and lab equipment
• Conduct analytical testing of raw materials and finished products
• Create and follow procedures, work instructions, and standards for EH&S and Quality
• Perform equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree preferred
• High School diploma with at least 2 years of industrial experience acceptable
• Additional certifications (welding, electrical, safety) advantageous
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (company provides on-the-job training)

Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel:

• Work in 24/7 operations on a 12-hour rotating shift
