Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Semi-Skilled) to repair and maintain the physical structures of our buildings and to complete work orders using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge. The role includes outdoor work and requires stamina to be outside for extended periods.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-4 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of technical experience in maintenance.
• General mechanical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and/or painting, as well as HVAC and/or grounds maintenance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain physical structures of commercial and/or residential buildings.
• Complete assigned work orders using general knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Support the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Outdoor work for extended periods throughout the day.
