Job Title: Multi-Skilled Craftsman – Home and Commercial Maintenance

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

Location: Ace Handyman Services of West St Louis County

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Owner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and versatile Multi-Skilled Craftsman to join our home maintenance team at Ace Handyman Services. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys variety in their daily tasks, and has a broad range of home repair and improvement skills. You’ll work independently or as part of a team to complete residential and commercial maintenance and repair jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks including (but not limited to):
2. Carpentry (doors, trim, cabinetry, framing)
3. Plumbing (fixture replacement, leak repairs, minor installations)
4. Electrical (outlet/switch replacement, light fixture installation)
5. Drywall repair and painting
6. Tile installation and grouting
7. General handyman work
8. Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs with minimal supervision
9. Ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area
11. Accurately track time, materials used, and job progress
12. Communicate effectively with customers and office staff
13. Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or general handyman services
2. Strong proficiency in a variety of trades
3. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
4. Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks

Preferred:

1. Vocational or technical training in construction or related fields
2. Certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC a plus
3. Previous experience in a customer-facing role
