Job summary
College of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to operate, maintain, and repair building systems and related facilities. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on reliability and safety.

Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance trades.
- Knowledge of heating and cooling system maintenance and repair.
- Experience using and maintaining tools and equipment typical for maintenance work.
- Ability to reside in Idaho and comply with CEI policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair panels, circuits, wiring and switches.
- Repair extension cords, lighting and HVAC components.
- Support journeyman electricians and plumbers on installations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building devices and systems.
- Operate equipment such as mowers, forklifts, and snowplows.
- Respond to emergency callbacks and assist other maintenance staff.
