Qualifications

• The incumbent handles a variety of semi-skilled to skilled tasks for operation and maintenance of physical plant facilities.
• Reads blueprints and sketches to plan routing and installation of systems.
• Performs routine maintenance on washers/dryers and controls in building facilities.
• Repairs and installs plumbing, electrical wiring, and fixtures as needed.
• Interprets diagrams and uses test equipment to locate faults and plan repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure guest areas and facilities.
• Log work orders and report status to supervisor.
• Install, repair and modify plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning units.
• Work from plans and schematics to ensure proper layout and operation of systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
