About this position: General Maintenance Worker Location – Albany, NY

Wage/Salary Range: $20.00 - $35.00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Generator Maintenance
• General maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skills and knowledge in such trades as:
• Painting
• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Masonry
• Electrical Work
• Changing filters and belts in Air Handlers
• Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, lights
• Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  
  

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

• Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Level of Experience Requirements: Two (5) years’ experience as a general maintenance worker or similar
• Valid Driver’s License
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc)
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting
• Good customer service, people skills

• Five Years Experience General Maintenance
• DOD Contract Experience
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Additional Qualifying Factors
