Job summary

Nellis Auction in Las Vegas is seeking a Training Manager to standardize how every warehouse team learns their job and to own the enterprise training strategy across all sites. You will build and maintain curriculum, run the certified trainer program, and partner with Industrial Engineering and Operations to keep training current with SOPs and system changes.

The role requires frequent site presence and collaboration with regional operations leadership to drive proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in training, learning and development or operations in warehousing/high-volume settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business or related field.
• Experience designing curriculum and training materials from scratch (ADDIE or similar).
• Experience building and running a train-the-trainer or certified trainer program.
• Experience with LMS administration; Paylocity LMS; familiarity with AI tools like QuinnAI.
• Using operational data to identify training gaps and measure impact.
• Professional training certification (ATD CPTD/APTD) preferred.
• Strong facilitation/presentation skills; ability to coach frontline staff and site leaders.
• Excellent written communication and MS Excel skills.
• Proven ability to influence across multiple locations without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Build and own functional training for all warehouse roles within the enterprise framework.
• Design, build and maintain curriculum for safety onboarding, learning paths and trainer guides.
• Run the train-the-trainer program and certify trainers to defined standards.
• Audit live training sessions and measure effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick model.
• Update training materials reflecting SOPs, process changes and software updates.
• Coordinate retraining with site leadership based on performance data.
• Own LMS content in Paylocity and QuinnAI; track completion and certification.
• Plan training for new sites, expansions and shifts; ensure readiness before go-live.
• Ensure compliance and safety training across all locations.
• Report training health metrics to COO and leadership; collaborate with HR and Recruiting.
