Job summary

Public Storage in Blacksburg, VA is hiring a Property Manager to work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside to serve customers.

We assess storage needs, suggest packing and moving supplies, perform daily inspections, audit cash drawers, make deposits, and help customers stay current on payments. A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle are required; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or service-based companies.

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors.
• Assess customer storage needs and suggest packing/moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Assist customers with payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.
