Job summary

USA Storage Centers is seeking a Floater Property Manager to provide coverage across designated storage sites in the Chattanooga, TN region. The role requires frequent travel between properties to ensure seamless operations, strong customer relations, and adherence to company standards.

You will manage sales and occupancy goals, handle payments and reports, and coordinate with on-site teams to maintain security and maintenance across locations.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, customer service, and administrative capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a diverse audience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently in unfamiliar or changing environments while maintaining a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills; capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Professional demeanor, including appearance and interpersonal interactions.

Responsibilities

• Travel between properties to provide coverage for staffing shortages and peak times.
• Adapt to each location’s specific procedures, customer base, and operational requirements.
• Engage potential and existing customers in person and over the phone to meet or exceed sales and occupancy goals.
• Process payments, invoices, and handle daily financial transactions accurately.
• Monitor revenue and occupancy strategies; manage delinquent accounts and lien processes.
• Inspect sites to ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance; coordinate with contractors for larger repairs.
• Partner with on-site staff to share best practices, mentor new hires, and support improvements.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership, provide updates, and perform additional tasks as needed.
