Job summary

IMT Residential in California is seeking a Multi-Site Service Technician to maintain seven communities in the San Fernando Valley, totaling 128 units. The role covers travel between Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, and Studio City to ensure quality maintenance and resident satisfaction.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools, use the provided tool set, and prepare apartments for new residents.

Qualifications

• Residential property maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus; CPO is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and use Outlook and SuiteSpot.
• Valid driver's license and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across apartments and common areas.
• Utilize the assigned tool set provided by IMT.
• Prepare apartments for new residents in a timely manner.
• Maintain property grounds for curb appeal and resident impression.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

IMT Residential is hiring a Multi-Site Service Technician (Multi-Site Maintenance Technician) to work at our Legacy South Cluster consisting of seven communities in the San Fernando Valley with a total of 128 units. This position requires traveling between Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, and Studio City.

Position Details

As a Multi-Site Service Technician (Multi-Site Maintenance Technician), you will create an environment where people will want to live. You will maintain the property to ensure good working order and pleasant curb appeal while providing excellent customer service to your residents.

• Diagnose and solve maintenance issues in the apartment homes, exterior and common areas ranging from plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances and pools
• Utilize assigned tool set provided by IMT
• Prepare apartments for new residents in a timely manner following IMT standards
• Perform daily maintenance of property grounds for curb appeal that makes a great impression on your residents, prospective residents and guests
• Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Community Manager

• Residential property management, hotel or equivalent maintenance experience
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus; CPO is a plus
• Willingness to learn and use technologies such as Outlook and SuiteSpot
• Availability to be on-call (rotating with the other Technicians) to address any emergencies
• Active and valid driver license is required
