Job summary

Spring Education Group is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep preschool environments across Florida schools safe and welcoming. You’ll respond to maintenance needs, support preventative care, and oversee vendor projects to keep campuses running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in building maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in various weather. Strong communication and customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical training preferred.
• 2+ years general building maintenance experience, ideally in schools.
• Must pass background checks and be able to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs: plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work.
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify safety risks.
• Support setup of rooms and events, and manage vendor activity.
• Maintain records of repairs and vendor visits; travel between campuses.
