Job summary

Pembroke & Co. in Southern Maine is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, and light plumbing across multiple locations within a 45-minute drive of Biddeford, ME.

This is a Monday-Friday role with opportunities for overtime and occasional part-time arrangements. You will coordinate with the owner, management, and subcontractors, keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' of maintenance experience.
• Clean driving record and driver's license to get to and from the different businesses.
• Be available on call for emergency repairs and breakdowns (6am-6pm, and not very often)
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated history of being dependable.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with the owner, management, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment, including ice machines, refrigerators, toasters, coffee equipment, and ovens
• Equipment Maintenance: Make minor repairs to restaurant appliances and fixtures
• Equipment Maintenance: Change water filters on a regular schedule
• Equipment Maintenance: Follow a preventative maintenance (PM) winterization schedule
• Cleaning: Deep clean the interior of the restaurants
• Cleaning: Hose down and squeegee interior spaces
• Cleaning: Power wash buildings and clean parking lots and exteriors
• Cleaning: Keep all locations clean, orderly, and presentable
• Painting & Small Repairs: Paint building interiors and touch up paint on exteriors
• Painting & Small Repairs: Replace broken floor, wall, or ceiling tiles
• Painting & Small Repairs: Grout and re-grout tile as needed
• Painting & Small Repairs: Patch holes in walls
• Painting & Small Repairs: Repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• Painting & Small Repairs: Miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• Grounds & Seasonal: Groundskeeping and light landscaping (weeding and bed maintenance)
