Job summary

UPMC Orthopedic Care seeks a Radiology Technologist – Float to support imaging across multiple outpatient locations in the Orthopedic Service Line. You will perform X-ray studies, assist providers, and travel between Hershey, Hummelstown, and Harrisburg locations as needed.

The role requires ARRT eligibility and the ability to obtain ARRT Radiography certification within set timelines, with a focus on compassionate patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry eligible as Radiologic Technologist.
• Must obtain ARRT Radiography Registry within required timeframe.
• Experience with outpatient imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete X-ray studies according to orthopedic provider protocols.
• Assess walk-in patients and perform imaging as needed.
• Review schedules and prepare imaging orders in advance.
• Coordinate with hospitals for outside imaging when needed.
• Travel between Orthopedic Service Line locations to provide coverage.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care throughout the imaging experience.
