UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. You will report findings to providers and assist with patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS certification, and state licensure as applicable by state law. Collaborative teamwork with providers and medical assistants is essential to ensure high-quality patient care.

This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing and analyzing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. **Job Requirements*** High School Diploma required* Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required* Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at time of hire.* State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law).* Inform technical staff of patient flow.* Prepare patients for examination, which includes conducting interviews to verify patient information, record medical history; confirm purpose of visit.* Perform preliminary physical tests (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.) for vital signs and escalate critical cases to the provider as needed.* Conduct point of care testing as needed (i.e., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG); and provide patient information to providers.When our customers enter our award-winning centers, they find a welcoming and comfortable environment, state-of-the-art technology and caring team members that help start the healing process immediately.
