Job summary

Independence Rehab seeks a Clinical Lead to supervise four Portland-area outpatient therapy programs and maintain an active patient caseload, primarily at Rose Villa. This hands-on leadership role combines patient care with clinical oversight across multiple sites, developing clinicians and aligning standards with facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of geriatric clinical experience; SNF/assisted living preferred.
• Leadership experience (DOR/Clinical Lead) encouraged but not required.
• Ability to lead across multiple Portland-area locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational oversight for therapy programs across four locations.
• Serve as primary therapy leadership resource across communities.
• Oversee full-time, part-time, and PRN therapy staff.
• Maintain a regular clinical caseload, primarily at Rose Villa.
• Visit satellite locations and support staffing needs.
• Build relationships with facility leadership and administration.
• Attend multidisciplinary and facility management meetings as appropriate.
• Interview and hire therapy staff with Recruiting.
• Create and manage therapy team schedules across locations.
• Monitor program performance, revenue, and expenses for sustainability.
• Ensure regulatory and company standards in documentation.
• Mentor, train, and develop clinicians.
• Establish consistent clinical practices across locations.
• Identify opportunities to improve therapy utilization and patient outcomes.
• Support a culture focused on functional outcomes, collaboration, accountability, and patient care.
