Job summary

Securitas Security is hiring a Multi Site Security Officer for Woodstock, IL. You will be stationed at multiple client sites and cover mostly third shift. Must be available all days and two shifts.

Join a team that emphasizes community safety, training, and advancement. Prior security or military experience is a plus; strong customer service and vigilance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Customer service background preferred, with strong de-escalation skills.
• Must be able to interact professionally with a diverse range of people.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scenes of incidents during accidents or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide directions or information to others.
• Carry out tasks similar in scope to those required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas' pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
