AllSearch Professional Staffing in Attleboro, MA is seeking an experienced Recycling Operations Manager to oversee performance across metal recycling facilities, driving safety, quality, equipment reliability, and profitability in high-volume scrap yard operations.

You will lead Facility Managers, manage budgets and KPIs, travel between sites, and partner with HR to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in steel scrap or metal recycling operations.
• Experience leading industrial recycling teams.
• Experience with budgets, KPIs, inventory, and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel between facilities and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple metal recycling facilities.
• Drive production volume, safety, quality, and profitability goals.
• Partner with Commercial and Transportation teams to support material flow and logistics.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, reliability, and capital improvement needs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Lead quality control to meet customer specs.
• Maintain Health & Safety and environmental compliance.
• Analyze KPIs, costs, and facility performance to identify opportunities.
• Manage facilities within operating and capital budgets.
• Recruit, develop, and manage Facility Managers and production teams.
• Collaborate with HR on staffing and policy compliance.
