Job summary

Kemin is seeking an Associate Director of Operations for its Missouri Campus in Verona. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across multiple facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing performance.

You will oversee Plant Managers and functional leaders, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and align with BU priorities while advancing Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 6+ years of management experience or bachelor’s with 11+ years.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, including 5 years in regional or multi‑facility leadership.
• Experience managing multiple sites with Plant Managers and functional managers.
• Strong regulatory compliance experience (FDA/USDA/OSHA) in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Servant Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage operating budgets across multiple facilities.
• Implement cost‑reduction initiatives and optimize resource use.
• Lead operational strategies aligned with corporate goals for growth and capacity expansion.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and leadership to align initiatives.
• Oversee Plant Managers and department heads for performance consistency.
• Monitor site KPIs and inform leadership for decision making.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, automation, and digital transformation.
• Foster leadership development and workforce capability.
• Promote a high‑performance culture and employee engagement.
