Job summary

Whistle Express Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues across multiple sites in our Charlotte market. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor HVAC and building systems, and keep detailed records.

The role requires hands-on work, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trades certs are a plus.
• Experience with hand/power tools and diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & Troubleshooting: diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems; replace defective parts as needed.
• Preventive Maintenance: perform routine checks, servicing, and scheduled upkeep to prevent breakdowns.
• System Management: monitor HVAC, electrical, and building systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Inspections: regularly inspect equipment and facilities for safety and code compliance.
• Documentation: maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Emergency Response: respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and issues.
• Inventory: manage spare parts and tools to support site maintenance.
