Job summary

Whistle Express Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose problems, repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and keep tunnels and equipment running across multiple sites. You will cover a geographic market, where no two days are the same, and hands-on problem solving is essential.

No degree is required; emphasis is on mechanical curiosity and the ability to work across sites with flexible schedules. Training will be provided to build skills on our equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand/power tools for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective fixes.
• Attention to detail for thorough inspections and precise repairs.
• Physical stamina for active, hands-on maintenance across sites.
• Clear communication and documentation of work performed.
• High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications or trade experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & Troubleshooting: diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems; replacing defective parts.
• Preventive Maintenance: routine checks, servicing equipment, scheduled upkeep to prevent breakdowns.
• System Management: monitoring HVAC, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspections: regular inspection of equipment and facilities for safety and code compliance.
• Documentation: keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Emergency Response: promptly addressing urgent maintenance requests.
• Inventory: managing spare parts and tools.
