Job summary

BrightPath Kids Cincinnati Metro Area is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to manage up to 15 locations. Responsibilities include light construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

You will troubleshoot appliances and maintain exterior spaces, coordinating with vendors and ensuring contractual obligations are met. The role requires strong English communication, a high school diploma, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities.
• Budget-minded and customer service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Total site maintenance and management of up to 15 locations.
• Light construction and/or maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.).
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers).
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds.
• Work order management system for internal requests.
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage performance.
• Monitor contractual obligations.
• Support centers through audits, regulatory visits, initiatives, and compliance.
